New UDeck Covers for the World of Warcraft TCG by Killian

When the World of Warcraft TCG comes out this October, you'll be able to buy starter decks which contain:- 33 card pre-constructed deck
- 2 booster packs (15 cards each)
- 3 Oversized Hero Cards
- Rulebook
- Plastic UDeck Case
The plastic UDeck will give you room to store your deck without falling apart like cardboard deck boxes. It will also have a customizable cover that you can use to style it however you want. UDE brought some new World of Warcraft UDeck covers to Comic Con to give away, and they were nice enough to send me some samples, so I've uploaded them for you all to see.
There are eight total, each done by a different artist. They're all great, but my favorite has to be the one by Gabe from Penny Arcade. I love his style, and it's so bright and colorful.

Alliance and Horde Previews by Killian

There are two new previews, one for the Alliance and one for the Horde. They go over each of the races in the World of Warcraft TCG and what kinds of themes these races will have. Unlike the MMO, racial differences have a much greater impact on gameplay. Instead of some minor gimped ability, races in the TCG will each have their own unique theme to it that will differentiate it from the rest of races. However, like in the online game, races will still have restrictions on which classes they can be. There won't be any Tauren rogues in the TCG.
Nothing specific has been revealed, due to the game mechanics still being under wraps, but it gives an idea of what to expect from each race.

Character Profile for Cory Jones by Killian

UDE has added a new character profile for Director of Brand and New Product Development, Cory Jones. Cory held a public Q&A back in January which revealed most of the small amount of information we've had about the World of Warcraft TCG up until the last few weeks.
I decided that WoW would be a great TCG license, so I convinced internal teams that we could create an amazingly successful game, and then I approached Blizzard and acquired the license.

Another great piece of art has been added to the gallery. UDE has been great, releasing new art almost every day now. This one is "Zygore Bladebreak" by Michael Komarck. Sounds to me like it's going to be an orc hero card.

UDE will be offering the first public demos of the World of Warcraft TCG at Gen Con Indy in a couple weeks, and now you can get a chance at a personal demonstration of the game.

Interview with Danny Mandel, Part 4 by Killian

Damn those pesky NDAs. The fourth and final segment of the interview with Danny Mandel is up for you to read at the official World of Warcraft TCG site. He talks about the differences between the factions and races of Warcraft. Sadly, he wasn't able to fully answer all of the questions.
Q: Would you mind telling us about one feature of the game that didn’t make it into the final design?
A: There are two aspects to this. There are features that didn't make it into the final design of the first set that are going to make it into future sets—I can't talk about those. Then there are the features that didn't make it into the first set that might make it into future sets—I can't talk about those either. Sorry.
